It is the policy of Access, Inc. to consider for admission and provision of services all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, creed, religion, age, sex, ethnic background, family status, veterans status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic disposition, or disability. Access, Inc. is designed to provide services for those who:
Have a diagnosis of a: Intellectual Disability, Mental Illness or Brain Injury
Who meet the age criteria for the specific service?
Attend pre-admission screening
Are not a serious threat to self or others
Are able to benefit from services
Consent to admission
Have an approved funding source (MCO/FFS/County) or have proof of ability to privately pay
Has a current psychological evaluation (if applicable)
Are not actively chemically or alcohol dependent
Do not require intensive psychiatric services for emotional stability
And are generally not persons with histories of a convicted felon or on the sex registry
For 24-hour residential services: are able to provide proof of ability to pay for household expenses which includes, but not limited to, needed deposits, rent, utilities, phone, personal supplies, food, clothing
Are approved by the Admissions Committee
